People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Hillington, Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 start time

Rates of Pay:

• £14.50 - £17.75 per hour

• Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry • Thorough first-day assessment and two weeks of training alongside experienced staff • Approximate 8 to 10-hour shift length

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Working a five-day week, Monday to Friday
• Driving Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently in Scotland
• Taking photographs to document successful deliveries
• Addressing customer concerns and reporting issues promptly to your line manager
• Some handball required

Essential Skills

As a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, the skills required are:

• Minimum of 24 month's experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver • Valid UK Category C1 driving licence • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 codes) • No major endorsement codes • Strong customer service skills

Training:

• Paid site induction • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
