About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a flexible and varied role across a range of school settings. You will play a key role in supporting pupils with diverse needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND

• Support teachers in delivering personalised learning plans

• Adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs

• Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development

• Monitor and record progress, liaising with the class teacher and SENCO

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Work flexibly across different year groups and settings

• Contribute to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of strategies for supporting complex needs

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Are adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changing needs

• Are committed to inclusion and safeguarding

• Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) - desirable
