Site engineer

Site Engineer Earthworks (North London)

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major earthworks project based in North London. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality civil engineering works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for earthworks, including cut & fill, grading, and drainage

• Managing and interpreting site drawings and specifications

• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to specification

• Conducting site surveys using GPS and total station equipment

• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site

• Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks or groundworks projects

• Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, excavation, and site preparation

• Proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, Total Station)

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software

• CSCS card (essential)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
