This is an outstanding opportunity for someone comfortable with conflicts, who can hit the ground running to join a collaborative and supportive team at a firm renowned for its progressive culture and genuine work-life balance.The Role As a Junior Conflicts Officer, you will play a critical role in running conflict checks and supporting with regulatory compliance across a broad range of practice areas. You'll support fee earners and partners on multi-jurisdictional matters, providing timely, commercial advice that ensures best-in-class client service while protecting the firm's reputation.
  • Reviewing new client and matter intake for conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and risk.
  • Analysing complex conflict scenarios and escalating where appropriate.
  • Advising stakeholders on risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Contributing to the development of internal policies and training.
  • Acting as a trusted mentor to junior team members.
About You? Minimum 2 years' experience in conflicts, within a UK or international law firm. Strong working knowledge of SRA rules, professional conduct, and guidelines. Exceptional analytical skills with a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
