Responsibilities
- Conjure up and launch a dazzling array of activities tailored to our residents' interests and abilities.
- Host group shindigs and provide one on one fun for our residents.
- Adapt activities for residents with dementia - patience and creativity are key!
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive vibe in our care home.
- Team up with care staff to weave activities into residents' daily lives.
- Keep track of activities and participation - you're organized and on the ball.
- Cheer on and support residents, boosting their physical, mental, and emotional well being.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role - you've been there, done that, and have the stories to prove it.
- A knack for creating and leading engaging activities for the elderly.
- Experience working with people with dementia - you're patient, adaptable, and a creative problem solver.
- Stellar communication and people skills.
- Organizational wizardry and superb time management.
- Independence and teamwork skills - you're a lone wolf and a pack player.
