Repairs Supervisor (Operations)

Salary: £40,756 - £42,916

Hours: 37 hours per week (Attend site and meetings outside normal working hours to meet service needs, as required)

We're looking for a motivated, people centred Repairs Supervisor (Operations) to help us provide safe, high quality homes for our residents. What you'll be doing

You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of property related services, including emergency and responsive repairs, improvements, void refurbishments, adaptations, and disrepair works.

Key responsibilities
  • Leading and motivating trade colleagues, apprentices, and contractors to achieve great results.
  • Overseeing a mix of workstreams, from responsive repairs to planned works, voids, adaptations, and surveys.
  • Offering clear technical advice on building issues, health and safety, and relevant legislation.
  • Driving efficient project delivery with a strong focus on quality and customer experience.
  • Producing specifications, schedules, drawings, RAMS, and other key documents.
  • Tracking performance, budgets, and KPIs, and supporting procurement where needed.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with residents, colleagues, contractors, and partners.
  • Helping colleagues grow through toolbox talks, team meetings, and one to ones.
About you

  • Do you have experience in property maintenance, construction, or social housing?
  • Do you hold an HNC/BTEC or similar qualification in Building Studies or a related field?
  • Do you understand construction legislation, Building Regulations, and Health & Safety?
  • Have you supervised teams or contractors before?
  • Are you highly organised with strong communication skills?
  • Can you manage competing priorities and solve problems effectively?
  • Are you confident using ICT systems?
  • Can you build respectful, positive working relationships?
