Salary: £37,180 - £42,900

HG Recruitment are recruiting for 2-3 Van Driver / Installers. in partnership with our client based in Leyland, Lancashire.

We are seeking experienced 2-3 Van Drivers / Installers to join our clients well established team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Leyland, however, your area to cover on a daily basis will be across the North West. Some overnight stays may be involved occasionally.

Working hours are:

• Monday to Friday, start and finish times vary.
• 55 hours per week.
• No weekends unless overtime is available

Key Responsibilities:

As a Van Driver / Installer, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• • Completing between 8 - 10 drops per day.
  • Delivering flat pack furniture, desks and cabinets across locations throughout the North West and UK
  • Handball duties due to the nature of the goods, will involve some heavy lifting
  • Fitting and installing delivered items on-site where required
  • Labouring tasks and removing packing and cardboard waste.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and the transport team
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
  • Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely throughout delivery

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver / Installer, you will need:

• Full UK driving licence
• Minimum of 12 month's van driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items
• Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work
