Royal Birmingham Conservatoire is part of Birmingham City University. Its Acting Department produces up to 14 full-scale shows per year in Birmingham theatres, alongside around 9 in-house workshops for invited audiences.
We have a production team of eight staff, supported by two assistants, working alongside students from our BA in Stage Management.
This role is at the heart of the Acting Department, working closely with staff across our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as our Foundation course in Acting and BA in Applied Theatre. The production team also supports some performance needs of the Music Department.
About the RoleThis is a demanding role requiring stamina, excellent time management, and strong leadership. It is ideal for an experienced Theatre Production Manager with experience in higher education Stage Management delivery.
The Acting Department is expanding, with new courses proposed, and the successful candidate will be central to these developments.
