Gas Apprenticeship Assessor

Full-time Blackburn Up to £37,265 (including market supplement)

Are you an experienced gas professional ready to support and develop the next generation of engineers? About the Role

Working as part of the Apprenticeship Gas team, you will manage a caseload of apprentices and guide them through every stage of their programme.

  • Plan and carry out workplace assessments
  • Deliver high-quality training and support to learners
  • Monitor apprentice progress to ensure timely achievement of the Apprenticeship Standard
  • Build strong relationships with employers and learners
  • Lead on standardisation activities
  • Coordinate the Internal Verification (IV) process
What We're Looking For
  • Industry experience in gas engineering
  • Relevant gas qualifications (e.g. ACS certifications)
  • Experience assessing apprenticeships (or willingness to achieve an assessor qualification)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A passion for supporting learners in a work-based setting
