Functional Assessor Adult Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Pharmacists
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Full Time & Part Time Available.
Work Setting: Split - Remote and Site-based.
Salary: £39,500 - £49,000 + annual salary uplifts and bonus scheme.

Role Overview: - Conduct Assessments: Evaluate claimants' health and/or work capabilities via phone and face-to-face assessments.
- Review Evidence: analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities.
- Compile Reports: Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- PIP Functional Assessor (3 assessments per day)
- WCA Functional Assessor (5/6 shorter assessments per day)
Example Tasks: - Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and daily challenges.
- Review medical records and write comprehensive reports.
- Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments.
Training Program:Successful candidates will complete a
12-week comprehensive training program covering (amongst other things):
- Assessment Techniques: Best practices for accurate evaluations.
- DWP Guidelines: Requirements and guidelines of the Department for Work and Pensions.
- Report Writing: Skills for detailed and objective reporting.
Who We Need: We are looking for fully qualified, registered clinicians from the following backgrounds: - ADULT Registered Nurses RGN, RN, RMN, RNLD
- Occupational Therapists (OT)
- Physiotherapists (PHYSIO)
- Paramedics (PARA)
- Pharmacists

- Be fully registered with the relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC, GMC, or GPhC
- Must have 1 year of post-registration clinical experience
- Be experienced in working with individuals aged 16 to 65 and above
- Have a strong understanding of long-term illnesses and conditions
- Demonstrate excellent IT, typing, and written communication skills
- Be confident in conducting assessments and writing clinical reports independently
