About the role

Part time vacancy of 20 hours per week.

As an Activities Co ordinator at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will plan and implement activities to delight residents, assist the Home Manager in organising fundraising events, and support residents in building confidence and socialisation, all with a sense of kindness above all else.

Responsibilities

Plan and run activities that engage and delight residents, based on their hobbies and interests.

Help the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events and collaborate with the care home team.

Provide care and support to residents in a considerate and kind manner.

Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training, seek advice and report concerns, including escalation when action is not taken.

Qualifications

Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.

Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills, and ability to manage time effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills, strong positive energy, natural ability to get along with people and communicate with residents and co workers in a considerate and kind way.
