Job Description

Our client has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join them on a contract basis for 12 months with possible extension.

Role: Project Manager
Location: Portsmouth - fully onsite
Hours: 37 per week
Hourly Rate: Up to 50.84 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance: full SC required before starting, UK Eyes Only due to project

What you'll be doing:

  • Project Managers shall lead the multi-function project team to deliver OQOTOC.
  • Project Managers shall build beneficial relationships with customers:
    • Identify threats to customer satisfaction and initiate effective mitigation actions.
    • Interface with internal & external Customers.
    • Provide regular status reporting.
    • Negotiate changes.
    • Act to promote customer satisfaction.
  • Project Managers shall develop the project plan:
    • Create a project team environment that will promote success through proactive planning.
    • Confirm requirements with the Customer to define scope.
    • State the methods that shall be employed in the execution of the project, utilising standard Company processes and procedures.
    • Define the work breakdown structure and agree work packages with the multi-function project team.

Requirements:

  • Project Management experience within Manufacturing, Aerospace or Defence
  • Experienced delivering projects On Quality, On Time, On Cost
  • Project Management Software Experience
