Instructor in Veterinary Nursing

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Antrim as a full-time Veterinary Nursing Instructor. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Administrator Pay Rate: £17.43 per hour

Hours of Work:

• 37 Hours per week
• Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

Instructor role to Level 2 Veterinary Care Support and Level 3 Veterinary Nursing students. This role will include preparation and delivery of teaching, practical assessment of students, participation in college activities, correspondence with Training Practices and involvement in quality assurance of the E-Portfolio and Assessments.

Essential Criteria:

Postholder must

• Hold a veterinary qualification at Diploma level or higher.
• Be technically competent in the area and subject for whichthey are delivering training
• Have recent relevant experience in the specific area they will be delivering and assessing
• Be occupationally knowledgeable in the area for which they are delivering training
• Be currently registered with the RCVS

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Hold or be working towards a nationally recognised teaching or assessing qualification.
