Ensure any buffering defined through the planning model is appropriate to support customer delivery and controlled. Manage the supply plan to optimise inventory, balancing customer delivery protection with cash impact. Maintain and communicate an inventory plan for the plant or suppliers. Ensure any excess inventory is authorised through EIA.
