Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic systems and components Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic equipment Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings Conduct pressure testing and system checks to ensure performance and safety Replace hoses, seals, valves, pumps, and cylinders as required Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime Work both in the workshop and occasionally on-site (if required) Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations Requirements Proven experience working as a Hydraulics Fitter or similar role Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics Experience with fault finding and diagnostics Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills Full UK driving licence (preferred/required depending on role) Relevant engineering qualification (advantageous but not essential) Experience with mobile plant, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment Welding or fabrication experience Knowledge of pneumatics or electrical systems
