Job Description
  • Lead credit assessments for new and existing counterparties, including private equity and alternative investment funds
  • Evaluate client financial performance and develop a forward looking view of credit and risk characteristics
  • Define, recommend, and oversee credit limits in line with portfolio strategy and risk appetite
  • Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of credit terms and related documentation
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of client performance, exposures, and portfolio trends
  • Provide independent review and effective challenge of proposed transactions and business initiatives
  • Support preparation of portfolio reviews, management reporting, and senior level presentations
The Successful Applicant
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 7-10 years of experience in a credit risk role supporting regulated and/or unregulated investment funds
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and cash flow metrics
  • Broad understanding of global financial markets and fund structures
  • Working knowledge of AI concepts and experience applying analytical or AI driven tools to risk assessment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across credit, legal, front office, and risk partners
  • Clear, concise communication skills and sound professional judgment
