About the role: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Wire person to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for electrical systems, a commitment to quality, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: Assemble control panels from engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. Wire control panels using industry-standard wiring techniques with a strong focus on safety and accuracy. Install electrical components such as switches, PLCs, relays, sensors, and terminal blocks. Test and troubleshoot panels to ensure they function correctly and meet design specifications. Document all panel builds, including modifications to wiring diagrams and layout changes. Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve technical issues and maintain high build standards. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and electrical standards. Terminate wires or fibres to connectors as per technical specifications. Clean and inspect materials for defects or damage prior to moulding. Soldering & Assembly: Solder cable conductors and connector pins accurately to ensure reliable electrical connections. Assemble components and ensure proper alignment before moulding. Operate and maintain soldering equipment safely and effectively. Moulding & Overmoulding: Set up and operate cable moulding machines (e.g., injection or low-pressure moulding). Mix and apply potting compounds and epoxy resins accurately. Ensure moulding achieves watertight and pressure-resistant seals. Quality Assurance: Perform initial quality checks on cables, soldered joints, and connectors produced. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
