Produce monthly commercial reporting including CVRs, margin analysis, cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reporting. Manage subcontractor payments, retention releases and contractual compliance in line with industry legislation and company procedures. Identify and manage contractual risks, including extensions of time, loss and expense claims, payment disputes and legal notifications. Support value engineering initiatives and provide commercial advice to maximise project profitability. Oversee project close-out activities, including final accounts, site closures and maintenance obligations. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in a senior quantity surveyor or quantity surveyor role within residential development, construction or housebuilding. Strong background in quantity surveying, commercial management and contract administration. Experience managing multiple projects Ability to identify commercial risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Excellent knowledge of procurement, subcontract management, valuations, cost reporting and financial controls. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive profitability and operational performance. Strong understanding of JCT contracts, construction legislation and payment regulations. Experience managing complex developments and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership skills. Proficient in commercial reporting, forecasting and cost management systems.
