Salary: 27,040 - 38,480 per year

The Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join an engineering team. The role involves developing, programming, and optimising CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
- Set up CNC machines, including milling, turning and other machining equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment
- Operate CNC machinery to produce high quality components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Adjust programmes as necessary to optimise machining processes and improve efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials and managing tooling requirements
- Use hand tools and basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
About You
- Proven experience in CNC machining within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience using Prototrak, Siemens, Fanuc and Winmax
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and programming
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Competent using hand tools and carrying out precise measurements
- Knowledge of materials and appropriate tooling selection
