This role offers the opportunity to work closely with commercial, project and procurement teams, supporting the successful financial management of projects from tender stage through to completion. You will play a key role in cost control, contract administration, forecasting, procurement support and commercial reporting, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with contractual requirements. Commercial Executive - Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets, cost forecasts and financial reports. Prepare and manage variation documentation, cost evaluations and claims submissions. Support the preparation of interim valuations and payment applications. Your Skills and Experience Experience within Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Cost Engineering or a similar commercial role. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Finance or a related discipline. Working knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims and payment processes. Familiarity with NEC, FIDIC or EPC contracts would be advantageous. Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and commercial or ERP systems. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive and collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams. Professional membership, such as RICS, or progress towards accreditation would be beneficial. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple civil engineering schemes concurrently, taking responsibility for the commercial and contractual delivery of projects typically valued between 3 million and 10 million.
