We are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Bolton and the surrounding areas.
These flexible supply opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a variety of school environments while making a meaningful contribution to inclusive education. Whether you are looking for short-term assignments or longer-term placements, these roles offer both variety and impact.
The RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
Assist teachers in delivering tailored and engaging learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Encourage the development of independence and communication skills
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to meet individual learning needs
We are looking for individuals who:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEND
Understand inclusive education and behaviour support strategies
Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Are flexible and willing to support across different age groups and settings
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)
