SourceCo Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced fitters for a globallly known client based in Bromsgrove.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, a proactive approach, and the flexibility to support both workshop and occasional on-site work.

Salary:

31k- 35k Per Annum + Bonus

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 08:00 to 17:00

What you'll be doing:

• Strip down and assess industrial gearboxes and motors
• Carry out fault finding and complete service/job reports
• Clean and degrease mechanical components
• Replace faulty gears, shafts, bearings, and seals to manufacturer specifications
• Assemble and test gearboxes and motors
• Prepare equipment for dispatch, including painting and finishing
• Maintain high standards of health & safety within the workshop

What we are looking for:

• Strong mechanical fitting experience (essential)
• Basic electrical knowledge (ideally)
• Experience using machining equipment (e.g. lathes, presses, milling machines)
• Good level of computer literacy
• Flexible attitude and willingness to work on customer sites when required
• Full UK driving licence (ideally)
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
