Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Gloucester
Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 1:00pm Friday
Salary: Competitive
Key Responsibilities of a Quality Manager
- Ensure the Quality Management System is compliant with company and industry standards
- Lead internal audits to ISO9001 standards, documenting findings and resolving any gaps
- Maintain and improve quality procedures to reflect actual working practices
- Drive continuous improvement across quality processes and systems
- Hold and document regular quality management meetings
- Support successful outcomes of external ISO9001 audits
- Ensure all equipment calibration is maintained and accurately recorded
- Manage and maintain the training matrix to ensure compliance
- Support the Quality Inspector and provide cover where required
Key Skills of a Quality Manager
- Strong knowledge and experience of ISO9001 within an engineering environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage audits, documentation, and continuous improvement activities
