Production Planner

A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Production Planner to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm. Paying 30,000 - 35,000 per annum depending on experience.

This role is a mix between office-based duties and factory floor duties.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage 1 account within the business
• Deliver on time to cost and quality
• Provide program update reports
• Manage the dispatch schedules
• Own the business metrics of quality, cost and delivery regarding parts passing through the company
• Liaise with internal departments
• Maintain, improve and stabilise the customer demand signals
• Effectively plan and manage for program recovery if required
• Generate visual business metric, which enable business performance to be tracked
• Support business development, growth and improvement projects as required

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Production Planner position:

• Extensive knowledge of production processes and customer relationship management preferably within the aerospace or automotive industry or similar
• MRP Management
• Excellent communication skills
• Account management experience
