Machine Operative:
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative to join a busy textile company based in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to secure a full-time, long-term position with excellent earning potential once fully trained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating textile machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Monitoring production processes and ensuring quality standards are met
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and reporting any faults
- Handling materials and finished products
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or textile environment is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Willingness to learn and undergo training
What We Offer:
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm no weekends
- Immediate start available
