What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on HGVs, commercial vehicles and trailers to manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing faults and conducting vehicle tests as an experienced HGV Mechanic
• Completing warranty, contract and retail documentation accurately
• Undertaking preventative maintenance to reduce customer costs
• Supporting team members and following instructions from the Shift Supervisor as a Commercial Vehicle Technician

What You Will Need

To be considered as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environment
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Organised, methodical and detail-oriented approach
• Friendly, professional and confident communicator
• Ability to work effectively under pressure independently or as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
• HGV Class 1 driving licence (desirable)
