Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced freight warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role within a regulated logistics environment, ideal for someone with previous warehouse experience who is looking to develop within air freight or 3PL operations.

This position requires flexibility, with working hours on a Monday to Friday basis: 07:00 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 18:00.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of cargo, supporting both inbound and outbound shipments in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

• Receive, check, weigh, and dimension inbound cargo in line with warehouse procedures
• Prepare and dispatch outbound shipments, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
• Operate FLT (Counterbalance) to move, load, and store goods safely within the warehouse
• Maintain accurate stock control, ensuring all goods in/out are recorded correctly within the system
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and internal systems (including Microsoft 365) to manage inventory and shipments
• Ensure all cargo is stored correctly and allocated to appropriate warehouse locations
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
• Support the handling and storage of regulated and dangerous goods in line with CAA and compliance standards
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and housekeeping standards
• Assist with equipment checks and report any faults or damage promptly
• Adhere to warehouse security procedures, including handling of known cargo within a regulated environment

• Previous experience within a freight forwarding or 3PL warehouse environment preferred
• Valid FLT (Counterbalance) licence essential
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft 365
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Flexible approach to working hours and duties
• Understanding of warehouse compliance, security, or regulated cargo (desirable)
• Ability to pass security checks / previous security training (preferred)

• Salary: £29,000 - £31,000
• Hours: Monday to Friday (07:00 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 18:00)
