Trainee Profile Blender

A well-established engineering company based in Alfreton is looking to recruit a Trainee Profile Blender to support the production of precision components. This hands-on role involves the use of abrasive belt machines to blend and finish metal parts, such as turbine blades.

This position requires excellent attention to detail and a steady hand, ideal for someone looking to step into the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate abrasive belt machines to blend and finish metal components
• Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Support wider production processes as needed

Requirements:

• Experience using abrasive belt machines or working in a similar environment is desirable
• Prior background in finishing, polishing or belt machine work is desirable
• A steady hand and keen eye for detail are essential
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
