OverviewAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Paralegal to join a growing and supportive legal practice. This role is ideally suited to a recent law graduate or an individual at the early stages of their legal career seeking hands-on experience in a professional environment.
You will gain exposure to a variety of legal matters while supporting experienced fee earners, developing practical skills, and building a strong foundation for future qualification and progression.
Key Objectives- Provide effective administrative and legal support to fee earners
- Develop practical legal skills and knowledge across a range of matters
- Deliver a high standard of client care and professionalism
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
- Support fee earners with file management and administrative tasks
- Conduct basic legal research under supervision
- Handle initial client enquiries via phone and email in a professional manner
- Open and maintain client files, ensuring compliance with procedures
- Prepare bundles and documentation for meetings and hearings
- Liaise with clients and third parties as directed
- Attend meetings and take accurate notes where required
- Assist with general office and departmental administration
Skills & Experience- Law degree (LLB) or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous legal work experience or internships (desirable but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
