Service Advisor

Our client, a leading Main Dealer, is looking to appoint a dedicated Service Advisor to join their professional team. • Competitive basic salary of up to 30,900 per annum, dependent on experience
• OTE earnings approximately 38,900, including bonuses and commission

Duties of the Service Advisor:

• Greet customers and manage the service intake process efficiently
• Advise customers on repair, servicing, and maintenance needs
• Produce accurate job cards and cost estimates to ensure dealership profitability
• Liaise effectively between technicians and customers to keep them updated on repair progress
• Upsell additional services and repairs where appropriate to maximise workshop revenue
• Manage customer expectations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the service process
• Handle customer enquiries and provides solutions promptly and professionally

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the motor trade
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes, workshop procedures, and relevant terminology is desirable
• a professional attitude and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
