Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Tewkesbury

Industry: Aerospace

Employment: Contract

Rate: £30-£35 per hour (DOE) INside IR35

The Role - Quality Inspector

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Tewkesbury.

You will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies and working with various stakeholders to take appropriate action on non-conformities identified during inspection.

You ll be working in a brand new, expanding facility under the guidance of a fantastic team.

Responsibilities - Quality Inspector

  • Dimensional and visual inspection of parts and assemblies
  • Conducting electronic part acceptance and rejection transactions
  • Presenting and discussing nonconformities with the team
  • Preparing non-conformity reports
  • Inspecting non-conforming parts
  • Participating in investigations and problem-solving tasks
  • Participating in Gauge R&R studies

Background - Quality Inspector

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience in inspecting GD&T symbols
  • Experience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges.
  • Knowledge/experience in inspecting parts from speciality processes
  • Experience in inspecting parts using CMM machines (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of QMS system and Microsoft applications
