A supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Shop Manager with the day to day running of the store and supervising the team, ensuring the growth of the business through increasing sales, controlling costs and delivering profit, whilst also developing and leading the shop team in order to build a loyal customer base. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Greet customers and create an inviting experience. Receive and check daily deliveries. Assist with the management of branch stock and produce. Maintain shop displays. You will: Set up and operate high-speed machinery with a focus on accuracy and speed. Troubleshoot and adjust machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Maintain quality standards by conducting regular checks and keeping precise production records. Collaborate with the wider team to exceed daily production targets. What You Bring: Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar role (e.g., Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Technical Operator, Rewind Operator, or Machine Setter). Industry Knowledge: Experience within the FMCG, Packaging, Food Manufacturing, Print, or Pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable. Technical Aptitude: Confidence in making minor machine adjustments and performing routine maintenance.
