Location: Hampshire

Salary: Up to £52,000 basic salary

Role: Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a role offering a strong work-life balance, autonomy, and variety?

I m working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Stockbridge who are looking to strengthen their maintenance team with the addition of a hands-on engineer from a hands-on industrial background (E.G Industrial manufacturing, Agriculture, Building Materials.)

The Role

You ll be responsible for maintaining site machinery, equipment and facilities, ensuring production runs efficiently with minimal downtime. This is a varied role covering both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of equipment and all maintenance across the full site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment
  • Fault finding and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
  • Minimising downtime through effective and timely repairs
  • Supporting installation and modification of equipment
  • Assisting with spare parts management and stock control
  • Working alongside contractors and supporting site projects
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensuring high standards of health & safety and hygiene are adhered to

You will also be part of an on-call rota and provide support as part of a 1 in 3 weekend rota, with additional pay provided for on call.

Shift

Either:

  • Monday Thursday (4-day week), or Tuesday Friday (4-day week) with condensed hours
  • Alternatively, Monday - Friday
  • 1 in 3 weekends required on site
  • On-call rota with additional payment

What We re Looking For

  • Multi-Skilled Engineer with Level 3 recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working with: Motors, drives, gearboxes and inverters, Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Experience within industrial manufacturing, Agriculture or similar environments
  • Welding / fabrication experience beneficial
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work
