Head of Income Generation and Engagement - The Role:
You will lead a dynamic range of fundraising and supporter engagement activities designed to inspire people to connect with our organisation and make a meaningful difference. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising, you will oversee the development and delivery of multiple income streams including our expanding events and challenges programme, Direct Mail appeals, community fundraising and mid value giving. You will use your expertise to create and implement initiatives that drive income growth and broaden opportunities for supporters to engage with and champion our work.
Head of Income Generation and Engagement - Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of the fundraising strategy
- Personally manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and prospect new mid-level donors to develop long-term relationships and maximise income
- Oversee budget planning, monitoring and forecasting while ensuring compliance with Fundraising Regulator standards
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to create supportive communication campaigns
- Provide values-based leadership for employees and teams to build a high-performance culture
- Monitor spend within your areas of responsibility and identify risks or opportunities for savings
Head of Income Generation and Engagement - You:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
- Holding a professional fundraising qualification
- Proven track record of senior strategic leadership in an organisation of comparable scope and complexity
- Experience of financial and budget management
- Significant experience in income generation through relationship-based sales, marketing and fundraising activity
- Demonstrable success of delivering to and beyond targets
- Good understanding of how digital technologies can underpin data-driven supporter engagement
