Maintenance Technician (Mech or Elec) The Company: Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician with either Electrical or Mechanical or Multiskilled skill? In this 3 shift role (combining earlies, lates and nights) you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair ( preventative and emergency ) of a wide range of production and engineering machinery . Perform electrical and mechanical work, including fabrication, welding and some minor electrical installation work as required. Requirements: Successful completion of a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum level 3 qualification, BTEC/City and Guilds or equivalent. Demonstrated multiskilled proficiency in industrial electrical AND/OR mechanical systems, including pneumatic/hydraulic systems, fabrication, and welding. Proven competency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams as well as troubleshooting control panels. Ability to pass medical which includes assessments for working at height and in confined spaces. Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
