Our client, a reputable independent used car dealership based in Poole, is seeking a skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a friendly and respected team, delivering high-quality vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.

• Up to £50,000 basic salary, with no unrealistic bonus expectations
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pm, with Saturday mornings on rota

Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct accurate and efficient servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles
• Identify faults and ensure all work complies with manufacturer and industry standards
• Record materials used and time spent on each job accurately
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality
• Complete auto electrical tasks on vehicle components
• Assist with picking up and delivering vehicles for external repair specialists as required
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Senior Vehicle Technician within the motor trade
• Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
