Sports Coach - Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Kids Planet is looking for a Sports Coach to deliver engaging sports and play activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and confidence while supporting children's overall care and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sports and play activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and confidence.
- Create a safe, fun, and active environment through collaboration with the team.
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families through open, supportive communication.
- Support children's overall care and wellbeing in line with the EYFS.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification or willing to complete through the Kids Planet Training Academy.
- Desirable: sports based qualification.
- Knowledge of the physical education requirements set by Ofsted and EYFS.
- Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
- Enhanced DBS check is required; safeguarding training is mandatory.
