Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Crane Supervisor to oversee lifting operations on a busy site in Southampton. This role is critical to ensuring all lifts are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry regulations.

Key Duties

• Supervise and coordinate all crane and lifting activities
• Ensure lifting operations are conducted according to approved lift plans
• Brief lifting teams and ensure clear communication at all times
• Carry out risk assessments and toolbox talks
• Monitor site safety and intervene where necessary
• Inspect lifting equipment and ensure compliance with regulations
• Liaise with site managers and other trades to maintain workflow

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Crane Supervisor ticket
• Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety standards (LOLER, PUWER)
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
