Responsibilities Include Experience operating, setting Manual Studer machines S20/RM250 and operating/ setting CNC (Studer S33/S31) Capability of machining exotic and hardened materials Carry out own 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation Precision manual land grinding, working to achieve limits to 0.00005" Able to set and run multiple machine / processes.Night shift (includes a generous shift allowance; note: allowance is not paid during the training period ) Key Skills and experience: A recognised engineering apprenticeship Mate grinding experience required Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing role within the aerospace industry Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling Attention to detail and accuracy and process improvement Using the relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing toleranceThis role will require the individual to work a shift pattern, including nights and overtime when requested.
