DAY SHIFT: Monday to Thursday - 7.30am - 4pm / Friday 7.30am - 12pm
Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke printed packaging solutions, specialising in high-quality cardboard cartons. They are known for their strong technical expertise, customer-focused approach and ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions across a wide range of industries. Operating from a well-invested manufacturing facility, the business offers agile production capabilities, consistent product quality and support for both start-ups and established brands.
They are currently seeking an experienced Cut & Crease Operator to join their production team. The role involves operating sheet-fed cut and crease machinery (primarily Bobst, with Sanwa experience advantageous) producing high-quality packaging materials to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up cut and crease machines ahead of production runs
- Performing quality control checks throughout the production process
- Carrying out basic equipment maintenance and using hand tools as required
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve production issues
Requirements:
- Bobst experience is highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
- Comfortable using hand tools for machine setup and routine maintenance
- Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment
- Safety-conscious with a good understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a continuously evolving production environment
