You will be involved in: CNC setter and operators for either Turning or Milling machines Responsible for accurately setting up and operating multi-axis CNC milling and turning machines in a high-volume, precision shop Proficiency with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls, and the ability to translate detailed engineering drawings into flawless component parts Collaborate with engineering and Quality teams to continually improve processes and ensure the highest quality standards Your skillset may include: Select and mount cutting tools, fixtures, and measuring tools according to approved specifications Configure machine parameters (feeds, speeds, tool offsets, coolant, etc.) Perform "prove-out" runs and adjust setups to achieve target tolerances Proficient in Fanuc and Heidenhain control languages and post-processing Measure finished parts with precision instruments and verify compliance with engineering drawings Work with engineering to develop and refine machining strategies for high-value production parts Identify and implement improvements in tool selection, tooling layouts, and machining cycles Report key metrics Familiarity with MRP/ERP production planning systems and general workshop practices Demonstrated ability to operate and set-up both CNC milling and CNC turning machines Capable of interpreting 3- to 5-axis toolpaths generated from CAD/CAM systems such as Edgecam, MasterCAM, Fusion 360, and similar platforms If this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!
