Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to seamlessly integrate instrumentation systems into overall plant operations. Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance schedules for instrumentation and control systems, ensuring long-term reliability and performance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues with instrumentation and control systems, providing expert guidance and support. Lead and actively contribute to HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) and LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis) meetings, ensuring safety and compliance. Maintain meticulous documentation and records in strict accordance with COMAH regulations, ensuring regulatory compliance. Ensure all instrumentation and control systems comply with ATEX directives, providing expert oversight and guidance. Select, install, and validate ATEX-certified equipment in hazardous areas, ensuring safety and compliance. Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for process improvements, driving innovation and efficiency within the instrumentation domain. Oversee functional safety activities, including the development of Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS), arranging Functional Safety Assessments (FSA), and performing verification calculations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
