Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor (outside IR35 - day rate)
Are you a seasoned hands-on Quantity Surveyor who enjoys managing multiple projects and being involved in quality projects?
This privately owned contractor has built a great reputation building and refurbishing high-end one-off housing projects.
They also undertake alteration works with most projects in the £250K to £3m in value.
We are looking for a self-driven Quantity Surveyor who can lead these projects whilst enjoying support from a commercial manager and company administrator.
You will manage your own diary and be able to work from home, though, also be expected and expensed to visit projects in London and Bristol on occasion.
With support from a great team environment of construction managers and supervisors you will drive fair commercial outcomes from the projects taking schemes over from hand-over to final account.
To be successful in the position you will be confident in managing 3 projects at differing stages and be a strong communicator and flexible to project changes.
The culture is one of openess and fairness and the staff turnover levels are very low, the company can consider permanent applications given the strength of the order book but day rate is offered to attract those considering a long-term consultancy appointment.
