The Role You'll play a key role in building and supporting scalable cloud platforms across Azure environments, helping to drive automation, resilience, security, and continuous improvement across the wider engineering function. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, security, operations, and delivery teams to support modern cloud-native services and ensure reliable platform delivery within an agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Azure & Cloud Engineering Design and deliver Azure-centric DevOps and cloud platform solutions Build scalable, resilient, and highly available Azure environments Work extensively with Azure native services, AKS, and hybrid cloud solutions Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates Support platform optimisation, reliability, and operational performance DevOps & Automation Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Support industrialised DevOps delivery models and repeatable deployment patterns Work with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, and related tooling Monitor engineering performance metrics including deployment frequency and failure rates Drive continuous improvement across engineering and operational processes Operations & Service Delivery Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and platform issues Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Release processes within Azure environments Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams Work across engineering, security, and operational teams to provide a unified service view Identify and remediate SLA risks and operational issues Security & Compliance Implement secure Azure delivery practices. Support identity, access management, and network security controls Apply automation and validation practices to reduce operational and security risks Essential Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on Azure DevOps engineering experience Deep understanding of Azure cloud services and AKS/Kubernetes Experience supporting Azure, hybrid, and Legacy infrastructure environments Strong experience with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps best practices Infrastructure as Code expertise using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep Experience working within Agile delivery environments Practical understanding of ITIL processes within cloud operations Strong troubleshooting and fault-resolution capability Experience engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong awareness of Azure cost management and operational governance If interested, please send across your latest CV along with: Current availability Confirmation of active SC clearance Day rate expectation If you are available and interested in this opportunity, please apply for further information.
