Job Description
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure engineering, including designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions, particularly across compute services
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, along with hands-on experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Harness
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security, including GCP networking services and tools like Cloud Armor, with a focus on implementing secure-by-design principles
- Experience in automation and observability, including performance optimisation, monitoring, and defining/operating against SLOs and SLIs to improve reliability
- Strong Scripting skills using Bash, PowerShell, or Python, with familiarity in tools such as HashiCorp Vault, Harness, and Backstage considered an advantage
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering collaboration across teams and driving best practices
- Relevant GCP certifications are preferred
