Handyman (3-Month FTC)

Fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hands-on Handyman / yard support operative to join a manufacturing company in Rugby on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend beyond this.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable supporting a variety of operational and site-based tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Jet washing, cleaning, and stripping down second-hand equipment
Assisting with the movement of machinery
Supporting general site upkeep, including breaking down pallets and waste materials
Carrying out painting, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks
Supporting warehouse racking installation
Helping with stock relocation and replacement as new systems are implemented
Providing support during on-site installations, including two-person lifts and equipment setup
Undertaking general DIY and ad hoc tasks across the site
Skills & Experience:
Practical DIY skills and confidence using tools such as drills, grinders, and multi-tools
A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
Forklift License (preferred - not essential)
Full UK driving licence
