Our client, a well established manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton, is currently recruiting for a Rolling Mill Operator/Setter to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long term career within manufacturing, with full training available for the right trainee candidate and higher rates offered for experienced setters.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am to 12:00pm
37 hours per week

Pay Rates:
12.71 per hour for trainee candidates
Up to 14.00 per hour for experienced Rolling Mill Setters

Key Responsibilities:

• • Setting and operating rolling mill machinery to production specifications

• • Monitoring machine performance and product quality

• • Carrying out machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting

• • Ensuring materials are processed efficiently and safely

• • Completing production documentation accurately

• • Maintaining a clean and organised working area

Candidate Requirements:

• • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operating environment preferred

• • Experience as a rolling mill setter/operator advantageous but not essential for trainee applicants

• • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

• • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
