Aurora Eccles School:
We're currently looking for a science teacher / lead?to join our team. The successful candidate will support to embed the vision, direction and culture that inspires staff teams to work together to provide the highest standards of education and care.
Part of the Aurora Group, Aurora Eccles School in Quidenham, Norwich provides day placements for students?aged 11 to 16 years primarily with communication and interaction difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia.? Some may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and other difficulties that can make learning harder for them.?
With small classes, a maximum of 10 students and a minimum of 3 staff per class you can focus on the needs of each student. There is a clinical team onsite that supports our work, and you will have the support of an experienced and stable SLT.

Key Duties:
As a science teacher, your role will be to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and experiences through the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum which you will have the flexibility to adapt, to enable our pupils to achieve their full potential in all areas of learning. You may also be required to teach some maths lessons. Our students' abilities range from entry-level through to higher GCSE.
For the right candidate, this role could attract a TLR for leading the Science and Technology Department. However, these duties are not a requirement of the role if you are seeking to focus your work in the classroom.

Skills and Qualifications
Due to the rural location of the school, candidates are strongly advised to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
