Robotic Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Robot Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in automation and fault finding? We are working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a Robot Maintenance Engineer on a Permanent basis . • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across robotic and automated production equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and controls faults to minimise downtime and maintain production output
• Support fault finding and bug fixing activities across PLCs, robotic systems and automated machinery
• Work on vision systems, controls and automation equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Assist with programming and fault diagnosis on PLC-controlled equipment and robotic cells
• Support installation, commissioning and optimisation of new automation and more technically advanced equipment coming into the business
• Work closely with production, controls and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Provide automation support to the wider maintenance team and assist with continuous improvement activities
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health & safety and company procedures

Maintenance Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Well versed carrying out a similar Robot Maintenance Engineer role
• Strong fault finding and bug fixing experience within an automated manufacturing environment
• PLC bias with strong electrical fault-finding capability
• Experience working with robotic systems and automation equipment
