Interim Senior Management Accountant

A highly successful and growing business in York is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to cover an initial 12 month maternity leave that could lead to a permanent role.

To be considered you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have significant experience of producing management accounts, ideally in a multi-entity environment along with the ability to mentor less experienced people in the team.

Key tasks involve:

• Leading on the production on monthly management accounts
• Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Accounts ledgers
• Maintaining the fixed assets register
• Supporting with subsidiary accounts preparation
• Preparing and reviewing UK and EU VAT returns
• Supporting with systems implementation and process improvement
• Reconciliation of Payment Provider Accounts
• Recording and reconciling Credit Card and Employee expenses
• Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting (KPI Reporting)
• Cost Management
• Supporting with risk identification and mitigation
